  • 1 lb ground beef
  • hamburger seasoning or salt and pepper
  • 1 (8 ct) can refrigerated Big Grands layered flaky biscuits
  • 4 slices cheese (american, cheddar, or other favorite)
  • pickle relish, onion, jalapenos, etc.
  • favorite condiments

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line sheet pan with parchment.
  • In a medium bowl mix hamburger with seasonings. Divide into 4 equal parts (1/2 cup each). Form into 4 inch round patties. Cook in a skillet or griddle on medium high heat until browned on both sides and cooked to desired doneness. Drain hamburgers on a paper towel lined plate.
  • Sprinkle flour onto a clean work surface. Roll out each biscuit to 5 inch diameter. Place hamburger patty on top of rolled out biscuit dough.
Divide a piece of cheese into 4 pieces and place on top of patty. Top with relish and or other desired toppings like onions or jalapenos.
Using a pastry brush put water around the edge of bottom biscuit.
Roll out another biscuit dough to 5 inch diameter and place on top of the hamburger and toppings.
Use a fork to crimp the edges of the top biscuit dough to the bottom biscuit dough to seal. Use fork to puncture top of dough to release steam.
  • Complete the rest of the stuffed biscuits. Place onto a prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Serve with favorite condiments.
