2 Ingredient Biscuits
These biscuits are so fluffy and very easy and quick to make. We paired these with my delicious sausage gravy that you can find here on my site. I hope you enjoy.
Equipment
- large mixing bowl
- sheet pan
Ingredients
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 1 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl combine self rising flour and heavy whipping cream until a shaggy dough is made. If dough appears too dry, add an additional 2 TBS's of cream.
- Place dough onto a floured work surface and form a disk. Fold dough over and press. Do this step four times so that the dough is not overmixed.
- Press dough into 1/2 inch thickness. Cut biscuits out using a 2 or 3 inch biscuit cutter or the top edge of a glass. (DO NOT TWIST as you are cutting out the biscuits, as this will pull edges together and create rough biscuits.)
- Don't forget to free form biscuits using the extra dough.
- Brush extra heavy whipping cream onto tops of biscuits to make them golden.
- Place biscuits onto a prepared sheet pan and place into 450 degree preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until golden on tops and bottoms and baked through.
- Brush with melted butter for a delicious flavored fluffy biscuit. We live to pair with my delicious sausage gravy that can be found on this site also. Enjoy.
