Air Fryer Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings

Equipment

  • large mixing bowl
  • 2 sets of tongs
  • measuring spoons
  • small bowl
  • medium bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken flats, wings, or drumettes
  • 2 TBS melted butter

Chicken Wing Seasonings

  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Parmesan Garlic Coating

  • 6 TBS melted butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2-3 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • In a large mixing bowl place wings and blot dry with paper towels. Add in 2 TBS melted butter. Toss to coat chicken wings with butter. Add in salt, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika. Stir to coat evenly.
  • Place the wings in a single layer in the basket of air fryer.
    NOTE: may take 2 batches, depending on how many wings being made.
    Air Fryer wings for 8-10 minutes until crispy. Flip wings over using clean tongs and air fry an additional 8 minutes until internal temperature is over 165 degrees.
  • While wings are air frying, combine 6 TBS melted butter, parsley, parmesan, minced garlic, and optional red pepper flakes. Once wings are done, immediately place into butter mixture and toss to coat evenly. Plate them on a serving platter and enjoy.
