- saute pans
- clean work surface
- Rolling Pin
- small bowl
- fork
- pastry brush
Ingredients
- 1 (8 ct) refrigerated biscut dough
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- pepperoni, chopped into pieces
- cooked & crumbled jimmy dean sauce, if desired
- 1 jar pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1 TBS flour
- 1 TBS olive oil or avocado oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp italian seasoning
Instructions
- Prepare pizza toppings. Cook sausage. NOTE: make sure any ingredients are cooked if needed. Raw ingredients will not work in this recipe. You can use the mini pepperonis or chop the original size pepperonis into small pieces.
- Spray basket rack with non-stick cooking spray.
- Lightly flour a clean work surface. Place one biscuit on floured surface and roll it out with a rolling pin or flatten it out with your hands to double it's size.
- Place 1-2 TBS shredded mozzarella cheese in center of biscuit dough. Place 1 TBS cooked sausage and pepperoni on top of cheese.
- Bring all sides of biscuit dough up over the ingredients and pinch edges closed. Roll into a ball. Place into prepared basket rack. Prepare rest of pizza bombs and place into basket rack. Give a little room in between each pizza bomb.
- In a small bowl mix together 1 TBS olive or avocado oil, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp italian seasoning. Using a basting brush, coat the pizza bombs with the mixture.
- Preheat air fryer at 375 degrees for 3 minutes. The air fry the pizza bombs at 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes until golden brown. Flip them over half way through cooking process. Keep an eye on these to make sure they don't get to over cooked.
- Serve up with your favorite marinara or pizza sauce, ranch dressing, a side salad, or side of fruit. Enjoy.
