Alabama White BBQ Sauce Pulled Chicken

Use the crockpot for tender chicken and make is saucy using a bottle of Duke's Alabama White BBQ Sauce. So good.

Equipment

  • 6 quart crockpot

Ingredients

  • 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 12oz bottle Duke's Alabama White BBQ Sauce
  • hamburger buns, pickles, extra sauce

Instructions

  • Sprinkle Everything Bagel Seasoning on the tops and bottoms of the chicken breasts.
  • In the bottom of the crockpot pour 1/2 cup chicken broth. place prepared chicken breasts into bottom of crockpot in one layer.
  • Place lid on crockpot and cook chicken for 4-5 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low until chicken is cooked through and fork tender.
    NOTE: Chicken should be fall apart tender.
  • Take chicken out of crockpot and shred it on a cutting board and place into a serving bowl. Add 1/2 cup of liquid from the crockpot to the shredded chicken for moistness.
  • Pour 1/2 bottle of white sauce all over shredded chicken and mix well. Add additional sauce if needed.
  • Place some pulled chicken onto a hamburger bun, top with pickles and additional sauce. Place top bun on and enjoy with a side of my homemade creamy coleslaw and baked beans.
