Beefaroni (One Skillet Meal)
A Ground Beef & Pasta Skillet Meal prepared in less than 30 minutes.

- large deep skillet
- cutting board & sharp knife
- measuring spoons & cups

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced `
- 2 (10.5 oz) cans tomato soup (or tomato sauce)
- 1 (10.5 oz) beef broth
- 10.5 oz water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1 TBS white granulated sugar
- 8-10 oz uncooked ziti pasta (or other small pasta)
- 2 TBS parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tsp dried parsley
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, break up and brown ground beef. At the same time add the diced onion and cook until softened. Drain excess grease from pan.NOTE: You can also use a Dutch oven or a large pot.
- Season cooked beef & onion with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and sugar. Stir in the tomato soups, beef broth, and water. Bring to a boil over high heat. NOTE: Check for seasonings at this time and add for desired taste.
- Stir in pasta and lower heat to medium high. Let simmer for 15-20 minutes until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.NOTE: stir every few minutes to keep pasta from sticking to bottom of skillet.
- Turn off burner and stir in cheese and parsley.
