Breakfast Pizza

Fun way to make breakfast using canned crescent dough, eggs, sausage, potatoes, veggies and cheese. Mix it up anyway you like.

Equipment

  • rectangle baking pan
  • 2 skillets

Ingredients

  • 1 can original crescent roll dough
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (Jimmy Dean)
  • 1 medium green bell pepper
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups frozen O'Brien hash brown potatoes (thawed)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • In a skillet brown sausage, green peppers and onions until sausage is fully cooked and no longer pink, and the peppers and onions are softened. Drain excess grease.
  • In a small bowl whisk eggs, salt & pepper. Place 1 TBS butter into a medium skillet over medium high heat. Pour in scrambled eggs and cook until eggs are set.
  • Spray a baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough onto prepared baking pan and spread out and close any perforated edges.
    Top dough with cooked sausage, peppers, and onions. Top with thawed potato hash browns. Top with scrambled eggs Top with cheese.
  • Place in preheated oven for 15 minutes until dough is golden brown and cheese is melted. Cut into squares and enjoy.
