In a large mixing bowl, add yeast, warm water, and sugar. Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add butter, egg, and salt. Mix well. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time mixing well until it forms a dough ball and pulls away from bowl.
Turn out dough ball onto floured surface. Divide into 12 equal balls. Place into lightly greased skillet. Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. After dough is risen, place in oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, rotate pan once halfway through.
Brush melted butter on tops of rolls after baking.

Came out just great! My oven runs a little hotter so next time I will bake only 17-19 minutes as they were a little overbaked–but still delicious.
