Chocolate Covered Pretzel & Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar, white granulated
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 cups chocolate covered pretzels, broken into pieces
  • chocolate covered pretzels, whole, for top of cookies

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large stand mixing bowl, combine butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and mix to combine.
  • Add eggs one at a time until combined.
  • Add 1/2 flour mixture and mix well. Add the rest of flour mixture and combine.
  • Mix in chocolate chips and the broken pretzels.
  • Scoop cookie dough using a 1 inch cookie scoop and place on a parchment lined baking sheet or a ungreased baking sheet.
  • Place a whole chocolate covered pretzel on top of cookie dough and flatten down to hold pretzel.
  • Bake for 12 minutes, check for a golden brown color on the edges. Enjoy.
