In a large mixing bowl mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pecans, green onions, and salt.
Lay out 2 sheets of plastic wrap, overlapping partway. Place cheese mixture into center of plastic wrap and using the sides of the plastic wrap form mixture into a ball shape. Cover ball with the same plastic wrap. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Remove plastic wrap and place cheese ball into a medium mixing bowl. Pour pomegranate seeds into bowl and press them into cheese ball.
Push sprigs of rosemary into cheese ball. Serve on a serving platter with holiday crackers.
