

French Dip Biscuit Sandwich

Equipment
- large sheet pan
- parchment paper
- Medium sauce pan

Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count) flaky layers
- 1/2 lb deli sliced roast beef
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 2 TBS horseradish sauce (optional)
- 1 packet (1.0) oz au jus gravy mix + amount of water listed on packet
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Split each biscuit in half creating 2 layers. Spread horseradish sauce on bottom layer of each biscuit. Top with roast beef and half a slice of cheese folded in half. Cover with top half of biscuit. Place on the prepared sheet pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and cheese has melted.
- While biscuits are baking in oven prepare the au jus gravy mix per directions on back of packet.NOTE: if you want a thicker gravy, add a corn starch slurry (2 tsp corn starch mixed with 2 TBS water and add to gravy to help thicken more, if needed.
- Serve them up with a small side dish of gravy for dipping the stuffed biscuits in. Enjoy.
