Homemade Blueberry Pie Filling

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 TBS water
  • 1 TBS fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • In a medium sauce pan over medium low heat, add blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, water, and lemon juice. Stir for 6-8 minutes until filling starts to thicken. Mash blueberries while cooking. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
