Homemade Tarter Sauce

Oh you will love this with your fish. Such a fresh & flavorful sauce.

Equipment

  • small bowl
  • measuring spoons & cup
  • small whisk or fork
  • plastic wrap
  • small cutting board & knife
  • lemon juicer

Ingredients

All ingredients are to your taste. Add as little or more to your liking.

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2-1 tsp dill relish
  • 1 TBS shallot, minced (or red onion)
  • 1 TBS lemon juice
  • 1 TBS capers, drained & chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl with a small whisk or fork. Taste, and adjust any flavors. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes to meld flavors together.
