Krispy Kreme Donut Pie

Equipment

  • 9 inch deep dish pie plate
  • ` cutting board & sharp knife
  • large mixing bowl and spatula
  • measuring spoons & cups

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 6 regular glazed donuts (use krispy kreme or other favorite)
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 TBS white vinegar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Unroll and place pie crust into a 9 inch deep dish pie plate. Crimp edges.
  • Cut each donut into 8 pieces. Place donut pieces into a large mixing bowl. Add in eggs, butter, sugar, vanilla, and vinegar. Mix well to combine and coat all donut pieces.
  • Pour donut mixture into pie crust. Spread evenly.
  • Bake pie in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until golden brown on top and mixture is set. Let pie cool completely before serving.
