PEEPS Blondies – An Easter Treat

Equipment

  • 9 x 13 baking dish

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate morsels
  • 15-20 PEEPS chopped (any color combination)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  • In medium bowl whisk together brown sugar, butter and vanilla extract. Add in beaten eggs and mix well. In a small bowl whisk together flour and baking powder. Slowly add in flour mixture to the brown sugar mixture. Mix well using a wooden spoon until batter forms.
  • Place batter into prepared baking pan. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Place chopped PEEPS all over top of blondie. Place back in oven for 5-7 minutes to finish cooking the blondie and to melt the PEEPS.
  • Cool completely before cutting into bars. Enjoy.
