This cake is so delicious. My family members and friend’s thought. I had it made by a professional bakery here in town. I’m going to making it often since it’s so very easy to make. Thank you Catherine’s Plates for all your recipes. You help my life much easier letting have different recipes for me to make.
What a great comment, nice to hear that they loved the cake. I hope you enjoy many more recipes.
Do you add the syrup from the can of pie filling, or do yo.dispose of the syrup(juice)?
I used the whole can, syrup and all. The syrup was very little as it was mostly all sliced apples with a little syrup on them. It was LUCKY LEAF brand which comes like that. But if you use any other brand just use all of the canned pie filling. I hope you enjoy.
