In a medium bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, butter, and vanilla. Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes to solidify dough.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper, silpat nonstick baking sheets, or lightly grease.
Using a 1 inch cookie scoop or TBS roll dough into 1 inch balls. Place into sugar and coat evenly.
Place onto prepared baking sheet 2 inches a part.
Bake for 7-9 minutes until cookie is solid on the sides and soft on the top.
Remove from oven and place one kiss or hug onto cookie and push down slightly. Let cool for 1 minute on pan and remove to wire rack to completely cool.
