Crock Pot Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup panko crumbs
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/8 tsp parsley salt
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 can Beef Broth
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 2 TBS oil
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 1 TBS chopped parsley garnish

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, mix together ground bee, milk, panko crumbs, egg, black pepper, parsley salt, garlic. Using a TBS or scoop make round shapes and roll to form meatball.
  • optional step (browning the meatballs will add flavor and a nice color.) Heat 2 TBS oil & 2 TBS butter in large skillet until it sizzles. Place meatballs in skillet and let brown on one, turning them over to brown on the other side.
  • Place meatballs in crockpot. Pour can of beef broth over all meatballs.
  • Place lid on crockpot and cook on low 4-6 hours or high 2-3 hours. Check for tenderness of the meatballs. Remove meatballs. Add sour cream to gravy in crockpot and mix well. Add meatballs back in to absorb the juices. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  • Serve over noodles, mashed potatoes or rice.
