Rice Krispie Treats

This a true favorite of my husband’s.  His favorite thing to do with these is to dunk in melted chocolate and put sprinkles on them.  I enjoy making them with him.

Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients

  • 3 TBS butter
  • 1 PKG Kraft Mini Marshmallows 10 oz
  • 6 Cups Kelloggs Rice Krispies Cereal
  • 1 PKG Toll House Chocolate Chip Morsels any flavor
  • 1 Jar Sprinkles

Instructions

  • In Large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  • Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add cereal and stir.
  • Using a buttered spatula press mixture into a 13x9 baking dish coated with a cooking spray.
  • Refrigerate until cool. Cut into squares or shapes you like.
  • Melt chocolate chip morsels in uncovered, microwave safe bowl on high for 1 minute.
  • Stir. Continue in microwave every 10 seconds until completely melted.
  • Dunk rice krispie squares into melted chocolate about half way.
  • Lay on rack and sprinkle your sprinkles on them and let set.
