In a medium bowl mix together ground beef, panko or bread crumbs, 1 egg, Worcestershire Sauce, garlic salt, black pepper. Form mixture into 4 oval shaped patties.
In a large skillet over medium high heat place in butter and oil and bring to a sizzle. Place meat patties into hot pan and let brown and sear for 5-6 minutes. Flip over patties, flatten and let cook an additional 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.
Remove meat patties and let rest on a plate. Turn heat down to a medium and add one extra TBS of butter and oil. Add onions to skillet, season with salt & pepper. Cook until onions are softened and browned.
Stir into onions 4oz beef broth, 1/2 cup water and the brown gravy packet. Stir and bring to a boil over medium high heat until sauce thickens.
Turn down heat to a medium low, place meat patties back in skillet and scoop gravy and onions over meat patties. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desire. Enjoy.
