Sausage Cream Cheese Balls Appetizer

Only 5 ingredients. Perfect for football season, holidays, potlucks, or anytime.

Equipment

  • measuring cups
  • large mixing bowl
  • sheet pan lined with parchment
  • small cookie scoop (1 1/2 inch)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb jimmy dean breakfast sausage, uncooked
  • 1 (8oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (10oz) can rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, mild (drained)
  • 1 3/4 cup bisquick baking mix
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine all 5 ingredients until well mixed together.
  • Scoop mixture using a 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop and rolling into ball shapes using your hands. Place onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
