Equipment

  • 6 quart crockpot
  • toothpicks
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • measuring cups & spoons
  • cutting board (opt)

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 lb) boneless ham II used a Kirkland (Costco) Master Carve Half Ham (This was not sliced.)
  • 2-3 TBS whole grain mustard (or any type of mustard)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 6 oz Coca-cola (or other type of cola)
  • 6-8 slices pineapple with juice
  • 10-12 cherries

Instructions

  • Spray a 6 quart crockpot/slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Remove ham from packaging. Place ham & juices into crockpot. Ham should be sideways.
NOTE: if ham doesn't fit in crockpot, just cut off pieces to make it fit.
NOTE: I'm using a non-sliced ham for this recipe. You can use a sliced ham for this recipe.
  • Spread mustard on top of the ham to coat evenly. Place brown sugar on top of the mustard. Pour coca-cola down the sides of the crockpot being careful not to wash off the brown sugar from ham.
  • Place pineapple slices on top of ham. Place a cherry inside of the pineapple slice securing with a toothpick. Place extra cherries around the outside of pineapples securing them with toothpicks also.
  • Place lid on crockpot and cook on low for 3-4 hours. Check internal temperature in the center of ham with a thermometer. It should be at least 140 degrees.
NOTE: cook on high for a faster turn around on the ham.
  • Remove ham and carve. Place back in crockpot in the juices or serve on a platter with juices poured on top.
