Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken Spaghetti
Equipment
- 1 (6 quart) slow cooker/crockpot
- medium mixing bowl

- large pot with strainer

Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs boneless, skinless whole chicken breasts
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Garlic Honey Sauce
- 2/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2/3 cup honey
- 2 TBS minced garlic
- 1 TBS minced ginger
- 1 TBS hoisin sauce
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional) or sriracha
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 TBS corn starch
- 2 TBS water
- 12 oz spaghetti, cooked & drained per package instructions
- green onions, sliced or chives
Instructions
- Spray a 6 quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken breast in a single layer in slow cooker. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Flip chicken over and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In a medium bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, hoisin sauce, crushed red pepper flakes (opt), and chicken broth.In a small bowl whisk together corn starch and water. Pour into mixture in medium bowl and stir together.
- Pour mixture all over chicken. Place lid on slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 7 hours. (Timing depends on size of chicken; make sure to check for doneness and tenderness.)
- Cook spaghetti per directions on back of package until al dente or until desired tenderness is achieved. Drain.
- Shred chicken in slow cooker with 2 forks or a meat chopper. Add in cooked, drained spaghetti and stir to combine. Let sit for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions, or chives.
