Slow Cooker Swamp Potatoes

So good. Potatoes cooked with green beans and smoked sausage with a delicious brothy liquid.

Equipment

  • cutting board & sharp knife
  • measuring cup
  • Crockpot/Slow Cooker

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs yellow potatoes, washed and chopped into bite size pcs
  • 13 oz link smoked sausage (any variety), cut into rounds
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, cleaned
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 2-3 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 pkt lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 stick butter, cut into pats
  • 2-3 TBS favorite seasoning blend (I use Kinders Buttery Steak Seasoning blend.)

Instructions

  • Spray a 6 quart crockpot/slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Place chopped potatoes, green beans, sliced sausage, chopped onion, and minced garlic into crockpot/slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle 1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix across the ingredients in crockpot. Sprinkle seasoning blend across the ingredients in crockpot.
  • Place the pats of butter all over the top of ingredients. Pour beef broth into crockpot.
  • Place lid on crockpot. Cook for 4-5 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low until all vegetables are tender. Enjoy.
