Bake pie crust to the instructions on package and allow to cool.
Rinse and dry strawberries. Cut off stems and cut strawberries into quarters.
In a medium sauce pan on medium heat, heat up water, sugar and corn starch to a boil and allow to thicken. Add strawberry gelatin and mix until combined. Allow to cool.
Place fresh strawberries into pie shell. Pour sugar mixture over strawberries and spread evenly.
Chill in refrigerator for 4 hours. Slice and garnish with whipped topping and extra strawberries.
