Equipment

  • 9 inch deep dish pie plate
  • cutting board and sharp knife
  • large measuring cup (3 cup capacity) or bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 box Little Debbie Swiss Roll Snack Cakes
  • 3 cups ice cream, melted (I used homemade vanilla, but other flavors would work.)
  • chocolate syrup
  • whipped topping

Instructions

  • Slice Swiss Rolls into 5 round pieces and lay into bottom & up the sides of a 9 inch deep dish pie plate to form bottom crust in a circular pattern showing the spiral frosting upwards. Place crust in freezer until chilled about 30 minutes.
NOTE: save one twin package of swiss rolls for the end of recipe.
  • Melt 3 cups of favorite ice cream (I used homemade vanilla.) and pour all over the frozen crust. Place in freezer to ice cream has re-frozen.
  • Slice pieces and place on plates. Drizzle chocolate syrup over slices, squirt whipped topping on top and place one slice of a swiss roll on top. (This swiss roll was saved from the beginning of recipe.)
  • Refreeze leftover pie since it will melt quick.
