Swiss Roll Ice Cream Pie
A delicious, scrumptious "No Bake, Ice Box" Dessert using these fun Little Debbie Swiss Roll Snack Cakes.
Equipment
- 9 inch deep dish pie plate
- cutting board and sharp knife
- large measuring cup (3 cup capacity) or bowl
Ingredients
- 1 box Little Debbie Swiss Roll Snack Cakes
- 3 cups ice cream, melted (I used homemade vanilla, but other flavors would work.)
- chocolate syrup
- whipped topping
Instructions
- Slice Swiss Rolls into 5 round pieces and lay into bottom & up the sides of a 9 inch deep dish pie plate to form bottom crust in a circular pattern showing the spiral frosting upwards. Place crust in freezer until chilled about 30 minutes.NOTE: save one twin package of swiss rolls for the end of recipe.
- Melt 3 cups of favorite ice cream (I used homemade vanilla.) and pour all over the frozen crust. Place in freezer to ice cream has re-frozen.
- Slice pieces and place on plates. Drizzle chocolate syrup over slices, squirt whipped topping on top and place one slice of a swiss roll on top. (This swiss roll was saved from the beginning of recipe.)
- Refreeze leftover pie since it will melt quick.
