

The Best Crack Cake Using Box Cake Mix
This cake is so easy but oh so indulgent and addictive.
Equipment
- measuring cups & spoons
- large mixing bowl

- electric hand mixer with beaters

Ingredients
- 1 (15.25oz) box Duncan Hines Yellow Cake Mix
- 1 (5.1oz) box vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup white wine, water, or apple juice
Glaze
- 1/4 cup white wine, water, or apple juice
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a large Bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray with added flour.
- In large mixing bowl whisk together cake mix, pudding mix, both sugars, and ground cinnamon.
- Add in eggs, water, and oil. Beat together with electric hand mixer for 2 minutes until well combined and smooth.
- Pour mixture into prepared Bundt pan.
- Bake for 45 minutes – 1 hour. Check cake with a butter knife through center of cake. Should come out clean with no wet batter.
- Cool cake for 10 minutes in pan while making the glaze.
- In a small sauce pan melt together 1/4 cup butter, 1/4 cup apple juice, and 1/4 cup white granulated sugar over medium heat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sugar has melted into butter.
- Poke holes on top of the hot cake. Pour glaze all over the cake. Loosen up cake from pan. Place cake platter upside down on pan and flip cake onto platter.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
