French Dip Biscuit Sandwich

- 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 count) flaky layers
- 1/2 lb deli sliced roast beef
- 4 slices provolone cheese
- 2 TBS horseradish sauce (optional)
- 1 packet (1.0) oz au jus gravy mix + amount of water listed on packet
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
Split each biscuit in half creating 2 layers. Spread horseradish sauce on bottom layer of each biscuit. Top with roast beef and half a slice of cheese folded in half. Cover with top half of biscuit. Place on the prepared sheet pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and cheese has melted.
While biscuits are baking in oven prepare the au jus gravy mix per directions on back of packet.NOTE: if you want a thicker gravy, add a corn starch slurry (2 tsp corn starch mixed with 2 TBS water and add to gravy to help thicken more, if needed. Serve them up with a small side dish of gravy for dipping the stuffed biscuits in. Enjoy.
