Optional Step: Searing stew meat for a richer flavor and color.
Add flour, salt & pepper to Ziploc bag. Toss stew meat into bag and mix well.
Add olive oil to large skillet and heat to a medium high. Add flour covered stew meat and sear on both sides.
Place in bottom of crockpot.
Add potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion to crockpot.
Add garlic, salt & pepper.
Add peas, beef broth, tomato sauce, and bay leaf. Mix well.
Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 6-7 hours.
Taste, add salt & pepper if needed.
Remove bay leaf.
Serve & Enjoy.
