Making the Big Mac Tortilla Burgers
On a clean work surface, place tortillas. Measure out 1/3 - 1/2 cup of ground beef and place into center of 1 flour tortilla. Using your hand, spread beef evenly over the tortilla until completely covered. Season with hamburger seasoning, or just season with salt & pepper. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Heat a griddle, large skillet or cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Add the tortilla burger patties burger side down onto hot skillet. Using a spatula, press the tortilla flattening the meat more.Cook for 3 -4 minutes until hamburger is cooked through and no longer pink. Flip over and place a single piece of american cheese on top of the cooked patty and cook 1 additional minute until tortilla is golden brown and crispy on the bottom.Repeat with rest of burger tortillas. If making a lot of these, you can place the ones that are done in a single layer on a sheet pan and place in a preheated 250 degree oven to keep warm. Dress the burger tacos with shredded lettuce, pickles, onions, and the big mac sauce. Fold like a taco and serve immediately.
