Breakfast Cheese Danish
These delightful Cheese Danish are made simple by using refrigerated crescent roll dough.

- 2 (8 ct) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 2 TBS white granulated sugar
- 2 TBS melted butter
- 1 TBS brown sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla
icing
- 1 cup powdered suguar
- 1-2 TBS milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl combine cream cheese, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla. Set aside.
Pull out crescents from both packages and leave in the tube shape. Slice through the tubular shape of crescent dough to make 16 rounds. Lay rounds onto parchment paper cover baking sheet.
Using your fingers are a very small measuring cup create a well (to hold filling) into each round. Brush each molded round with melted butter.
Evenly divide cream cheese filling to fill each well of the crescents and spread evenly. Sprinkle brown sugar over the cream cheese filling.
Bake for 16-18 minutes until golden brown.
Blend together powdered sugar, milk and vanilla to make the icing. Drizzle icing all over the cheese danishes. Enjoy.
