Brownie Batter
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Peanut Butter Filling
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 3 TBS butter, melted
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9 x 9 baking dish with parchment. (This will help remove baked brownies from pan.) Or you can butter baking pan.
Crack 2 eggs into a large bowl. Add in white granulated sugar. Whisk together eggs and sugar until smooth. Add in 1/2 cup melted butter, vanilla, and salt. Whisk until combined.
Whisk in flour and cocoa powder until combined. Set aside.
In a medium bowl mix together peanut butter and butter until well combined. Slowly add in the powdered sugar until smooth.
Spoon brownie batter into bottom of prepared baking pan and smooth evenly. Dollop the peanut butter mixture over the brownie batter and smooth out. Using a butter knife swirl the peanut butter mixture through the brownie batter to create swirls. (Don't over swirl)
Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes. Use a toothpick to test doneness of batter. Cool brownies. Enjoy.
