Place pecans on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and spread them out. Place into 300 degree oven for 6 minutes. Remove and allow to cool for 3-4 minutes.
On the same pan arrange pecans like turtle legs (flower shaped) until you have 10 groups.
Unwrap each soft caramel and press into a disc shape using your fingers to stretch to double it's size. Place disc sized caramel on top and centered on the 4 pecans (1 turtle). Create the rest.
Lower heat of oven to 200 degrees. Place pan back into oven for 4-5 minutes until caramels have slightly melted. Remove from oven.
Melt chocolate chips per instructions listed on back of package for microwave or use a double boiler method.
Spoon melted chocolate on top of the caramel topped turtle. Allow to completely set. NOTE: place these in the refrigerator for a complete set up of chocolate.NOTE: store in an air tight container.
