- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2/3 cup milk
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup pizza sauce (your favorite brand)
- 1 pkg pepperoni (or other cooked sausage, bacon, ham, veggies)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lower rack in oven to the bottom rack. Lightly spray a 10 x 15 rectangular deep rimmed sheet pan with non-stick cooking spray.
In large mixing bowl whisk flour, salt, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and garlic powder together.
Add in eggs and milk in to flour mix and whisk until a smooth batter forms.NOTE: it should be the thickness of pancake batter. Add a drizzle of milk to thin out if needed. It should be pourable. Pour batter into prepared baking pan and smooth evenly to all 4 corners.
Top with 1/2 of the cooked meats, veggies, and or pepperoni.NOTE: the order of making this pizza is important. The meats and veggies keep the dough from bubbling up.NOTE: if you just want a cheese pizza; half way through cooking time poke the crust with a fork to bust any bubbles that may appear. Bake 10-15 minutes in preheated oven on lowest rack until edges are golden brown and crispy.
Remove from oven and drizzle pizza sauce all over the pizza evenly. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and remaining toppings, if desired.
Return to 425 degree oven and place on top rack. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese has melted and is golden brown. Slice & enjoy.
