Place chicken into bottom of crockpot. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix over chicken, place block of cream cheese onto chicken. Add diced green chilis over and around chicken.
Place lid on crockpot and cook for 6-7 hours on low or 4-5 hours on high until chicken is fork tender.
Remove lid and shred chicken mixing it well with the cream cheese. Cook an additional 15 minutes to combine flavors.
Add bacon, cheddar cheese, and green onions. Place lid on for a few minutes to melt cheese. Mix everything together.
Serve on buns, tortillas, over rice or on pasta.
