Fresh Peach Cobbler
A delicious summer time delight using fresh peaches. So easy to make and will go quickly. Don't forget your favorite vanilla ice cream with this dessert.

- 5 (3 cups) Fresh Peaches (peeled, pitted, and sliced

- 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Batter
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 6 TBS butter
- optional: ground cinnamon
- optional: ice cream to serve with
Place sliced fresh peaches, 3/4 cup granulated sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt into medium sauce pan. Stir over medium heat until sugar melts into peaches making a syrup. Turn off heat and set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place sliced butter into baking dish and place in oven. Allow to melt for a few minutes and remove. NOTE: Leave oven on same temperature. In a large mixing bowl whisk together, all-purpose flour, white granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until combined (should be a smooth batter).
Pour batter all over melted butter in baking dish. Spoon peaches and syrup all over the batter evenly. Sprinkle with cinnamon generously.
Bake in preheated oven for 38-40 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into cobbler comes out clean.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream, if you like.
