Fried Cabbage & Sausage

- 3 TBS butter or cooking oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 14 oz package smoked or kielbasa sausage cut into 1/4' to 1/2 inch thick rounds
- 1/2 bag frozen O'Brien hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 - 1 head of green cabbage sliced thin
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp dried parsley
In a large skillet melt butter over medium high heat until it sizzles. Add in chopped onion and sausage rounds. Cook until sausage is brown and crispy on the edges and onion is softened. Stir in potatoes. Cook until potatoes are crisp.
Add in cabbage, broth and seasonings. Continually stir until cabbage has wilted and is slightly browned. Enjoy.
