Brown up onion in a frying pan with olive oil. Add ground beef and brown up. Drain any excess grease from meat.
Add taco seasoning and water, simmer for 5 minutes.
Place about 2 1/2 tablespoons of beef mixture onto each tortilla.
Roll each one up tightly and secure with a toothpick.
Heat up cooking oil in a large wok or Dutch oven.
Carefully place flautas in oil.
Cook on each side for 2 minutes each until desired color & crispness is obtained.
Carefully take flautas out and drain on paper towels on a plate.
Serve with your choice of sour cream, queso, quacamole, citantro, and/or pico.
