Instant Pot Sausage Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground breakfast sausage
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • salt, pepper, sage to taste
  • 2 TBS butter

Instructions

  • Set instant pot to saute setting. Add butter. Once sizzling, add ground sausage and brown up.
  • Add chicken stock. Place lid on, make sure knob is set to sealing. Set instant pot to high, 5 minutes. Do a quick release. Leave lid on.
  • Mix flour and milk together, season with salt, pepper, and sage.
  • Add milk and four mixture to sausage in your instant pot.
  • Place on saute setting and continue stirring until desired thickness is reached.
