Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Clean off mushrooms with a paper towel. Pull off stems and place mushrooms into a greased baking dish. Chop stems into small pieces.
In a large skillet, brown sausage. Add onions, chopped stems, and garlic and cook for 5 minutes. Add cream cheese and parmesan cheese, stir until melted. Stir in bread crumbs, basil, and parsley.
Brush mushrooms with melted butter. Spoon sausage mixture into mushroom caps.
Bake uncovered for 12-15 minutes until tender.
