Sausage & Peppers Fettucinne 30 Minute Meal

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettucinne pasta uncooked
  • 2 TBS cooking oil
  • 1 cup diced bell or sweet peppers (any color)
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 12 oz smoked sausage thinly sliced (any flavor)
  • 2 TBS dried parsley
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to directions on back of package.
  • While pasta is cooking, heat cooking oil in a large pot or skillet. Stir in diced peppers, onions, and sliced sausage and cook until sausage is browned and peppers & onions are soft. Season with salt & pepper. Add garlic and cook one additional minute while stirring.
  • Slowly stir in chicken broth and heavy cream.
  • Drain cooked pasta and add to the pot and stir until thoroughly coated. Simmer an additional 2-3 minutes until sauce is thickened. Sprinkle with parsley.
