Traditional Pecan Pie

- 1 (9 inch deep dish) unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 2 TBS butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped or halved pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place pie crust into pie plate if needed.
In medium bowl whisk eggs. Add in bown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla. Whisk to combine.
Stir in pecans. Pour mixture into pie crust.
Bake on center rack of oven for 60-70 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours until pie plate is cooled before serving.
