Ultimate Chocolate Dump Cake

- 1 (15.25) oz box Devil's Food Cake Mix
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips (or other favorite flavor chips)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 9 x 13 baking dish or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Pour the dry cake mix into bottom of prepared baking dish evenly. Pour the chocolate chips over the dry cake mix evenly. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chocolate chips. Sprinkle nuts over the caramel sauce.
Pour the melted butter over the ingredients in baking dish evenly. Then pour the evaporated milk over all the ingredients in baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. (35 minutes for a gooey cake and 40 minutes for a drier cake.) Cake should be firm on top and bubbly on sides.Let cake cool slightly to help set up. Serve up with whipped topping or ice cream.
