Air Fryer Chocolate & Nutella Crescent Rolls

Equipment

  • 6 quart air fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 (8ct) tube crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup nutella hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • 4 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 TBS water
  • garnish with powdered sugar if desired

Instructions

  • Roll out crescent roll dough and separate into triangles at the perforated edges.
  • Spread 2 tsp of Nutella on top of the crescent triangles to cover the surface. Place 10-12 chocolate chips on the large end of crescent triangle. Roll crescent from large end to the small tip.
  • Beat together egg and water. Brush egg mixture onto rolled crescents.
  • Spray inside basket of air fryer or place a round circle of parchment into bottom of basket. Place rolled crescents into basket leaving space in between.
  • Bake for 6-8 minutes on 360 degrees. Will turn a deep golden brown. Check for doneness on the crescent dough.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar or any other delicious topping you like.
