

Apple Pie Dump Cake (3 Ingredient Magic Cake)
You will have your whole house smelling like it's Fall Time.
Equipment
- 9 x 13 baking dish
- small microwave safe bowl
Ingredients
- 1 (21oz) can apple pie filling
- 1 (15.75 oz) box yellow cake mix (dry)
- 2 sticks (1 cup) butter, melted
- cinnamon for extra spice, if needed
- chopped walnuts for crunch in cake, if needed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spread apple pie filling in bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish evenly. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of apple pie filling, if desired.
- Sprinkle dry cake mix across the pie filling in baking dish evenly. Sprinkle walnuts on top of dry cake mix, if desired.
- Pour melted butter all over the cake mix on top of the pie filling in baking dish evenly to cover cake mix as much as possible.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until top is golden brown and the apple pie filling is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes. Serve it up with ice cream, if desire.
You could make this with any fruit pie filling. I went to the grocery store early in the morning today to purchase a can of pie filling only to find out that they were all out of organic pie filling. I’m thinking you could probably use frozen or canned fruit as well and add a little bit of sugar.
Sure, you can use any pie filling and if you would want to use frozen or canned fruit you’ll want to thicken it up some.
