

Banana Bread Cookies
6 Ingredient quick treat using very ripened and sad looking bananas. Makes 12 cookies.

- large mixing bowl
- fork
- whisk
- sifter
- measuring spoons
- sheet pan
- parchment paper
- 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop or large TBS
- spatula
Ingredients
- 1 medium very ripe banana
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- opt (1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line sheet pan with parchment paper and set a aside.
- In large mixing bowl mash up 1 very ripe banana until smooth and no lumps show.
- With a whisk mix in melted butter in with the mashed banana. Add in sugar and mix well until creamy.
- Sift in flour, baking soda, and salt into the banana mixture. Fold in using a spatula.
- Optional step: Fold in nuts or chocolate chips as an add-in, if desired.
- Scoop batter onto lined sheet pan using a 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop or a large TBS. Leave space in between cookie batter mounds.
- Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are crisp on the edges and golden brown on the top. Cookie should be firm on the top and fluffy on the insides.
- Let cookies sit on sheet pan for a few minutes before removing them to a wire rack to firm up. Enjoy.
