
Bubble Up Philly Cheese Steak Casserole

Equipment
- large skillet

- 9 x 13 baking dish
- non-stick cooking spray
Ingredients
- 1 – 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 medium green bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced`
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz chiz whiz or cubed Velveeta cheese
- 16 oz provolone cheese, shredded (DIVIDED)
- 1 (8 ct) can refrigerated biscuits
- dried parsley, garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a deep skillet over medium high heat break up and brown ground beef with peppers and onions. Drain excess grease out.
- Season cooked beef, peppers, and onions with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Stir in milk and cheese whiz/velveeta until melted and combined.
- Turn off burner and stir in 1/2 (8oz) provolone cheese until melted.
- Cut the 8 biscuits into 8 pieces each and spread along the prepared baking dish in a single layer.
- Pour ground beef cheese mixture all over the biscuit pieces in prepared baking dish.
- Top with remaining 8 oz of shredded provolone cheese.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until biscuits are golden brown and cooked through. Should reach an internal temperature in the center of the biscuit of 165 degrees.
- Sprinkle with dried parsley and enjoy.
