Chicken Tenders-Baked, Sweet, and Crunchy with a Dipping Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup Flour
- Salt & Pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 3 TBS maple syrup; divided
- 2 cups crushed frosted flakes
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1/4 cup dijourn mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with tinfoil and place a cooling rack on top.
- In the 1st shallow bowl, season flour with salt & pepper.
- In 2nd shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and 1 TBS syrup.
- In 3rd shallow bowl, mix crushed flakes and salt & pepper to taste.
- Dredge chicken tenders in flour, then place in egg mixture, and then coat with the frosted flakes. Place on to cooling rack on baking sheet, leaving space between each tender.
- Place in preheated oven for 25 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- In a small bowl, mix mustard, the remaining maple syrup and honey.
- Serve dipping sauce with chicken tenders.
