Chicken Tenders-Baked, Sweet, and Crunchy with a Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 TBS maple syrup; divided
  • 2 cups crushed frosted flakes
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1/4 cup dijourn mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with tinfoil and place a cooling rack on top.
  • In the 1st shallow bowl, season flour with salt & pepper.
  • In 2nd shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and 1 TBS syrup.
  • In 3rd shallow bowl, mix crushed flakes and salt & pepper to taste.
  • Dredge chicken tenders in flour, then place in egg mixture, and then coat with the frosted flakes. Place on to cooling rack on baking sheet, leaving space between each tender.
  • Place in preheated oven for 25 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  • In a small bowl, mix mustard, the remaining maple syrup and honey.
  • Serve dipping sauce with chicken tenders.
