Copycat PAYDAY Candy Bar

A Sweet Treat with only 6 ingredients full of peanuts and a smooth inside.

Equipment

  • Medium sauce pan
  • measuring spoons & cups
  • spatula
  • 8 x 8 baking dish

Ingredients

  • 2-3 cups salted roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 7 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 TBS butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Grease or butter an 8" x 8" baking dish. Pour half of the peanuts into the bottom of prepared baking dish. Make sure the bottom is filled completely. (You may need to add more peanuts.)
  • Melt 1 1/2 TBS butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. Pour in peanut butter chips and stir with a spatula until melted.
  • Stir in condensed milk, vanilla extract & marshmallows until smooth. Pour mixture over the peanuts in baking dish evenly.
    NOTE: be quick as the mixture will start to set up.
  • Place remaining peanuts on top of the mixture in baking dish. Add additional peanuts, if needed to fill the top with a single layer. Press peanuts into mixture.
  • Refrigerate until set, at least an hour. Cut into bar shapes.
    NOTE: these are best kept in refrigerator.
