Cowboy Butter Sauce

A great flavored sauce for steak, chicken, pork, vegetables or dipping bread in.

Ingredients

  • 6 TBS butter, melted
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 TBS Dijon mustard
  • 1/8 tsp ceyenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 TBS dried chives
  • 2 TBS fresh parsley or 1 TBS dried parsley
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • In a small bowl whisk all ingredients together. Taste for seasoning adjustments, if needed.
  • Drizzle over steak, chicken, pork, vegetables, or dipping bread in.
  • To thicken sauce add more Dijon. To thin out just heat for 10 seconds.
